Kielder Observatory is a public outreach astronomy facility located in the Kild Forest, on some of the darkest skies in Europe. Kielder Observatory is designated by the International Dark Sky Association and is one of the largest international dark sky parks in Europe. The observatory is located on Black Falls Heights, a few miles from the Scottish border, near James Turrell's Kildish Space.
