About Ione Hotel
Serving Gold Country since the mid 1850's, the Ione Hotelis a symbol of the wild days of the Gold Rush of 1849. TheIone Hotel was worked to house excavators and act as a stagecoach stop for provisions and ordinary business. Established before the gold rush, Ione is a town rich with history. In 1910, following a fire, the inn was reproduced as a solitary block and block structure and named the Brilliant Star of Ione. It filled in as a lodging, café and cantina until 1988 when another fire obliterated the structure. Following eighteen months of broad remodels, including a delightful mahogany flight of stairs and numerous lovely mahogany emphasizes, the lodging is indeed serving visitors.
