Inn on Barons Creek is known that in 2004, the construction site of the Walch family property broke ground for the first time. The Walch family house was loaded with trailers and relocated to the northeast side of Fredericksburg. The original owners, Ron and Gary McCreddy, run the hotel business with their parents in San Antonio and decided to build a hotel in Fredericksburg. Inn on Barons Creek will set a new standard for hotels in town: All-suite hotel with indoor corridors and great views of Ballen Creek. During the construction of the hotel, the bed and breakfast by the creek in the backyard was sold and purchased. The site was later upgraded and this wonderful historic property was incorporated into the hotel. In 2008, Live Oak looding, a full-service hotel management, development and investment company, acquired hotels on Barons Creek.
