The Detroit Youth Hostel is a 501 (c) (3) educational non-profit organization that aims to connect Detroit visitors with the people and places that make their cities great. They hope that their guests will have the perspective of experiencing Detroit and interacting with the local people when they leave Detroit. They want them to eat on their urban farms, ride bicycles on their streets, enjoy the prosperous small business community in the city, communicate on a personal level, and feel their festive atmosphere.
