Holland Bowl Mill is one of only a few commercial bowl manufacturers in the United States. Originally founded by Chester Van Tongeren in 1926, the wooden shoe factory was still owned and operated by Chester's relatives. In 1984, Holland Bowl Mill became an independent company, and its current president and owner is Chester's grandson Dave Gier.
