About Grassland
Grassland aims to "promote pastoral agriculture" by providing a forum for the exchange of science, technology and knowledge. The NZGA was established in 1931 to promote discussion of Grassland agriculture and the value of research and its applications. Their membership includes many scientists, consultants, agribusiness and farmers - making it truly "driven by science and tempered by experience". Join the NZGA and participate in a forum of key members of the New Zealand livestock industry to obtain independent, impartial and credible research results, as well as valuable communication opportunities. The NZGA also organizes occasional workshops of interest to researchers and farmers, including advances in plant breeding, dry land legumes, endophytes of ryegrass, the nutrition and management of deer in grazing systems, and the persistence of pastures.
