About HMA
Susan Hall (psychologist) and Ken McMaster (social worker) conducted a series of working group meetings among service workers working in the field of abuse. Susana was working at a child protection service while Ken managed community organizations, both of which were related to domestic violence and sex offenders. It is logical to combine the two parts of the puzzle. This ensures that the victim's voice does not disappear in the intervention dialogue. HMA are keen to leave a legacy for future generations. HMA all saw restrictions on the lives of women, men and children. As a result, they dedicate their work to support workers, whether psychologists, social workers, or support workers, and let them use the best skills to engage and collaborate with individuals and families to break the cycle of abuse.
