Glens Surplus began selling electronic clips in 1975. In 1978, Glenn opened his first shop in a small building in Shiloh, Ohio, selling lawn and garden parts. Glens Surplus is located in a historic factory originally built in the 19th century. Over the years it produced foot cabinets for the Vietnam War, P-38, M16 clips also as a hinge and spring factory. They're even home to the Shelby Bulb Factory ("Forever Bulb"). Currently, their store is a maze of more than 25,000 square feet of retail space with over 100,000 square feet of built-up space.
