In the 1930s, during the Great Depression, Raymond Von Ruden made the decision to come up with a more effective and better way to undertake the tiresome and taxing task of cutting down trees. They came up with a method of converting power and motion from a farm tractor to a typical forestry saw using a combination of ingenuity and imagination.
