About Fun Fabrics
Fun Fabrics and Northwestern Quilling are True Legends grants. Initially, the business was a retail store, starting in 1981 under the name Do-Da Gifts, which sells gifts, balloons, novelties and sights of legends Betty Boop, Elvis Presley, the Wizard of Oz and others. In those years, Jim made custom buttons, even designing a button used in a nationwide political campaign in 1992. The mail order web-based business started as part of a store, in March 1996, from a 5-page website. Over the next two years, the site grew, and by the end of March 1998, the retail store had closed and all their energy had been transferred to the online business. Although True Legends has been selling fabrics for years, in 2003 they officially opened Fun Fabrics, specializing in fabric prints for characters and themes.
