This beautiful hotel is covered in bark, was built in 1923 by the wood baron Amos Fry, and is included in the National Register of Historic Places. The Brown family has owned this hotel since 1982. Fryemont Inn have carefully protected Fry’s mountain resorts, maintaining the same rural charm and attracting generations to vacation here. Casually drink a cup of coffee and walk through the French door to the rocking chair porch with a view of Smoky Mountains. From the porch, you can also see the swimming pool nestled among hemlock, dogwood and poplar trees. Be sure to go to their gift shop to buy some souvenirs in the mountains. Fryemont Inn have 37 comfortable maroon-panelled bedrooms in the main house, with kings, queens and combined rooms; some rooms are even connected together-perfect for your family.
