Frescos Naturales is a Latino-owned beverage company that specializes in making aguas frescas, which are traditional Latin American drinks made with water, fruit, grains, seeds, flowers, and a little sugar. The founder of the company, Juan Ignacio Stewart, grew up in Guatemala drinking natural refrescos made fresh at home with just three ingredients: water, fruit/grains/seeds or flowers, and just a tad of sugar. In 2018, Juan began selling rosa de jamaica at local farmers' markets and later developed more flavors. Frescos Naturales now has six flavors, including sparkling tamarind, sparkling hibiscus, and sparkling maracuya. Sebastián, the artistic director of Frescos Naturales, grew up drinking natural refrescos in his native Peru and is proud of the company's dedication to its Latino roots.
