Film Streams is a non-profit arts organization and is dedicated to enhancing the cultural environment of the Omaha-Consel Bluffs area through the presentation and discussion of film as an art form. Their organization oversees two beautiful movie theaters including the Ruth Sokoloff Theater, a double-screen venue they opened in 2007 in Omaha's North Downtown, and the historic Dundee Theater and they are Omaha's longest-running community movie theater. Their two cinemas are open seven days a week and host a variety of programs in five main areas. As a non-profit organization dedicated to presenting films based on creativity and artistic and social values, Film Streams relies on their membership program and the support of individual donors and foundations as well as corporate and government organizations and community volunteers.
