Field of Screams has been named one of the best haunted spots in the United States, created by owners Jean and Jim Shapf in 1993. The two brothers were born in Manville, and started farming together in junior high school and high school. They continued this family tradition for the rest of the high school and university. They both graduated from the same high school and university.At Millersville, they were members of the first-class wrestling team, majoring in education. Field of Screams is located on the beautiful 33-acre Lancaster Pennsylvania, just a short drive from Philadelphia and Baltimore, Maryland. These fields and two other local farms are still cultivated by Jim and Jean.
