At Emmatheteachie, it's a pleasure to meet you. They are Emma the Teachie's creator and illustrator. You can find them cuddled up with a fantasy book, playing tennis, surfing, or making their humorous hubby laugh when they're not producing biological materials (yes, they count that as one of their hobbies). They always wanted to be an illustrator when they was little since they drew images all the time and thought why not pursue it as a career. They never considered becoming a teacher. In actuality, it didn't for a long time. In high school, they had a passion for science, and they ultimately majored in biology while earning a bachelor's degree in natural sciences. It wasn't until that point that they began to wonder what it might be like to teach. So, Emmatheteachie made a slight u turn and obtained their teaching certification immediately after receiving their degree. But not yet; that wasn't their happily ever after.
