About Earth Tuned
Earth Tuned has recreated an iconic instrument by fusing space-age manufacturing methods with antiquated philosophy, raising the bar for what tuning forks can be used around the world. In Lynwood, Washington, an aerospace fabrication business is where Earth Tuned first started. The University of Washington's rocket department was using the facilities to prototype hybrid gas rocket engines. Aluminum alloys of aerospace grade are used in the production process, which is done on highly accurate CNC machines. Joshua Reff increased the size of the model to fit the dimensions that are now possible after having visions that inspired him to create his first tuning fork. He was a student of the hermetic arts, seeking to harmonize the craftsmanship of his instrument with his knowledge of mathematics and philosophy.
