About Dukes Mayonnaise
It was at Camp Sevier in 1917 that the Dukes Mayonnaise inheritance started. They made sandwiches in their home kitchen to offer to armed force bottles during WWI. Their sandwiches (and the mayo that gave them their extraordinary flavor) were so remarkably heavenly that years after they'd left the camp, warriors kept in touch with them asking for their sandwich recipes and containers of their delicious spread. They started packaging it as an item all alone in 1923. Throughout the course of recent years, Dukes Mayonnaise has proceeded to develop and commend its obligation to family recipes and strong, southern flavors. Notwithstanding the lead mayonnaise, which is as yet made by their unique recipe in Greenville, SC, they offer light, olive oil, and seasoned mayonnaise, tartar sauce, sandwich relish and territorially motivated Duke's Southern Sauces, mustards, and dressings.
