Right here in Los Angeles, Italian artisans have been around for generations. DOM VETRO was founded in Veneto, Italy, by leading eyeglasses maker Ashley Bezamat and moved to Los Angeles, California, in 2017. Based on "each pair is a personal idea", DOM VETRO sunglasses and optical glasses are completely handmade, customized and fully customizable by their LA workshop for you. Sunglasses can block out uncomfortably bright light while protecting the eyes from ultraviolet rays. All thanks to metal powder filters, which "select" light as it enters. Tinted glasses selectively absorb some of the wavelengths that make up the sun's rays because they use very fine powders of metal (iron, copper, nickel, etc. ). In fact, when light hits the lens, it is subtracted by a process called destructive interference.
