About Diana's Bananas
Diana's Bananas began in the mid-1980s and were a delicious result of sudden inspiration. At the booth of the Taste of Chicago, the annual open-air food festival in Chicago, they came up with an idea: freeze a fresh ripe banana and let it soak in a delicious chocolate bar. Each of them took a bite and passed each other. Their taste buds jumped up happily ... they acted immediately. Diana's Bananas sent their team to the local supermarket and ate all the bananas. They melted chocolate day and night, peeled banana peels, inserted sticks, frozen bananas, and dipped them in chocolate ... oh, they also betrayed their light of life. After 10 days, after 25,000 bananas, they knew there was a hole in their hands.
