The first board of DB Skimboards is affectionately referred to as the "dashboard". This name has been used to this day and represents their hand-made board in the northwest region. DB Skimboards was created in 2003 by Richard Docker, Bryce Hermansen, Tim Mackey and Isaac Thomas. The initial production of flat skateboards and longboard skateboards soon grew from a garage to a 2,000-square-foot barn. They work around the clock, rush to finish college on the weekend, and pursue their passion all day after graduation. In 2010, they expanded the barn to a 4,000-square-foot store south of Seattle, Washington. Inspired by the beaches, concrete, and snow in the northwest, they continue to pursue their ideals, adventures, and ride the best skateboards possible.
