After two wars and the Great Depression, Conrad Yeager established a single-person store in the Shadyside Garage in March 1928, which was built in the late 1890s. More than 90 years later, Con Yeager Spice is still owned and operated by the same family. They were originally located in a small office building on Spring Garden Avenue on the north side of Pittsburgh, and moved to Zelempler, PA in 1983 to expand their growth business for the first time in their next five expansions. In 2000, they completed a new management and production facility, and in August 2001, they completed a new storage facility.
