Coastal Jewelers has been family owned and operated since May 2000. Brian and Susan McDonald, life-long "Maine Cos", started this business with their children Conner and Quinn, and you will often see them helping or getting off the car behind the counter. There, Coastal Jewelers provides a wide variety of jewelry to suit every budget, including stylish silver jewelry, beautiful gemstone jewelry and custom diamond engagement rings. However, they specialize in the production of tourmaline, a unique and fascinating gem, mined in their hometown of Maine. Tourmaline, the "state stone of Maine" is a gem that has been mined in the mountains of western Maine for nearly 200 years and is considered by many to be the most unique and diverse of all gems.
