Inspired by Finn started in 2003. Her other business is Kool Sheep Soakers. At the time, there was a vibrant cloth diaper community on several different BBS websites. She learned a lot about how to cloth diapers from BBS, and began to learn how to weave her own diaper cover and dye her own yarn. After knitting complete LIDS for her own babies, she found a lot of fun and started listing on eBay, but wanted a more dedicated space to sell her items. There were several options, but none could handle situations where multiple shoppers wanted to buy the same item at the same time. Heavy traffic often crashes online stores. One shopper commented that during the period of high demand for stockings, all the waiting customers, refreshing the page and looking for items for sale seemed to be "hyenas" stalking their prey! So Inspired by Finn appears.
