About Civic Garden Center
Since their establishment in 1942, during the Victory Gardens movement, they have been an internationally renowned nonprofit model that teaches people how to grow their own food and take care of the environment. Civic Garden Center has always been a grassroots group that takes direction from local residents who want to bring about positive local change through community and school gardens, environmental education, and action. Civic Garden Center is more dedicated than ever to accomplishing what they do as the globe grapples with the escalating climate issue. A sustainable future where social and environmental responsibilities guide institutional and individual behavior. Fostering community through environmental care, education, and gardening.
