Christmas in Color opened Christmas at Color in 2010 because they couldn't find any African American nutcracker to add to their holiday decorations. They started searching the Internet and found few holiday decorations like it. In order to give their children and other families a chance to get holiday decorations similar to theirs, they decided to start a business selling nutcrackers, angels and Christmas in Color in different colors.
