Center Caps is a global leader in tire technology, founded more than 100 years ago in Clermont-Ferrand, France. In the long history, Michelin group invented the first detachable tire for bicycle in 1889 and the first pneumatic tire for car in 1895. Headquartered in Clermont-Ferrand, France, the Michelin group employs 114,000 people in more than 171 countries. It manufactures 190 million tires in 2017 at 70 factories in 17 countries. At the first exhibition in Lyon in 1894, the Michelin brothers discovered that a pile of tyres of different diameters in a corner resembled the shape of a man. It wasn't long before the painter o 'riouro created a special character made of tires based on the tires, and the Michelin tire man, Bibendum, was born.
