About CardioVillage
CardioVillage 's mission is to provide relevant, participatory and meaningful learning experiences for healthcare professionals focused on cardiovascular medicine to improve the quality of patient care. Lawrence Jim Poole, MD is a professor of medicine at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He is the director of clinical cardiology and co-director of the University of Virginia Health System Heart and Vascular Center. Dr. Jim Poole graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1983. He completed an internship in medicine and hospitalization at the Massachusetts General Hospital and received a scholarship in cardiovascular medicine. CardioVillage 'sGimple has clinical practice experience in interventional cardiology, basic research interests in atherosclerosis and restenosis after angioplasty, and results in acute coronary syndromes and coronary interventions Interested in clinical research, teaching cardiovascular disease and health using emerging technologies.
