About Brockholes
The trust used their skills to build habitats for a variety of wildlife on the site of an abandoned quarry. With Brockholes extensive network of pathways and shelters, not to mention the breathtaking vistas above the river ribble, you may explore their 250 acre reserve. You may also stroll through their woods or enjoy the on-site lakes, all of which were thoughtfully planned to draw various species of wildlife so you can view them. Make sure you return often to explore the reserve as it varies with the seasons. The first of its kind in the uk, their magnificent floating Visitor village allows you to get as close to nature as possible. Their welcome center, an activity room, their lakeside kestrel kitchen and gift store are all located in the Visitor Village. Brockholes is a fully licensed wedding venue as well as an award-winning and environmentally friendly conference facility that can accommodate up to 130 delegates.
