About Brigantine Golf
Brigantine Golf was built in 1927 as part of the island's master plan. The north east of the island is unique in its Scottish chain link designed by Wayne Stiles and John Van Kleek. Thanks to its longstanding Scottish roots, this layout offers a breathtaking view of the bay, rolling moorland and almost treeless terrain. Brigantine Golf has a history of more than 60 years and bought the property in 1989. The new owner then renovated all the fairways, completed the courses, built a new clubhouse, etc. Recently, New York City has a shared service with the Atlantic County Improvement Agency - Contract signed to oversee the management and maintenance of golf courses. New York City plans to beautify the clubhouse and its surroundings. So look for new, exciting changes in the near future.
