About Boyd Waterbeds
Dennis Boyd, an entrepreneur who fully believes in the health advantages of a good night's sleep, launched Boyd Waterbeds in 1977. Boyd, a world-class swimmer in high school and college, suffered from shoulder tendinitis frequently until they bought a waterbed. They was able to quit receiving cortisone shots because to the warmth of the waterbed heater and the natural, pressure-free support for their shoulders and back. One of Boyd Waterbeds responsibilities in 1975, while they was a junior at the University of Missouri, Columbia's School of Business, was to create and present a marketing strategy for a company. They developed an idea for a waterbed business after becoming convinced of the therapeutic benefits of waterbeds.
