Boothbay Harbor has been a 501-C-6 voluntary organization, and its members include Boots Bay, Port of Boots Bay, East Buts Bay, Edecomb, Monhergen, Woolwich and More than 400 business entities and friends of chambers of commerce in the Westcastle community. The main goal of the Chamber of Commerce is to support local businesses and the communities they serve, as the guardian of the economic welfare of the community, to promote the development of tourism on behalf of the business community. They provide members with a series of chamber of commerce benefits including popular business events held throughout the year. Boothbay Harbor produced a 148-page area guide, area and sculpture maps, a large number of advertising campaigns, and managed their office visitor center and downtown information center.
