About Black & Creme
When Black & Creme moved to Palo Alto, California, Anthropologie was their fashion Disneyland when they went there. Black-owned designers are uncommon in the sustainable design industry. They rarely saw clothing made by minority local designers sold in big stores without the seasonal novelty that came with it. Black & Creme is their way of making it possible for all sustainable designers, small businesses, local businesses, Black-owned businesses, and free trade organizations to sell their products on a retail platform where they can all reconnect with the land, fiber, and people. Because they have lived abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Ecuador, they have direct experience that helps them appreciate indigenous communities. They acquired a profound regard for ranchers and individuals who really know the importance of arrangement with Nature. The sustainable community requires reeducation that is more educational than shame-mongering. They are glad to utilize their style energy, PhD examination, and love for all to carry adoring attention to the practical design space.
