Matt manages every aspect of Baker's Edge, but he is essentially an inventor. Using his education and professional experience in design, art, and economics, he developed the first prototype of the Edge Brownie cake in the late 1990s. He later worked with his wife Emily to improve the pan, patented it, and then decided to bring the product to market.
