In 1956 cherished companions Michael Caringella and Christopher bought the Armand's in Elmwood Park. Mike worked at his families butcher shop on Taylor Street and Armand was a fruitful craftsman. They consolidated both of these things into their new pursuit. Mike bringing his experience and family recipes into the kitchen where he made a large number of the popular things on their menu and Armand showing his unique craftsmanship in the principal lounge area.
