The idea stems from one of their many trips to the United States, and American Heritage marvel at the comfortable rocking chairs all over the porch again. Unfortunately, they cannot put one in their suitcase, nor can they reasonably ship one with regular transportation services due to size. Then there was an idea to put a few in the container of the cargo ship and give them to other rocking chair enthusiasts. In fact, the first green rocking chair was used for the company's trademark. The inspiration for their other products comes from their own homes. Every time they bring back from the United States, they put them in their suitcases and decorate them cutely. After their first garden and lifestyle exhibition, American Heritage created a website and opened their first store in Augsburg in 2005.
