About Alpina
Alpina, the famous red triangle signature, is a luxury watch manufacturing base based in Geneva, Switzerland. Founded in 1883, it's watchmaking history, spanning more than 130 years. Alpina was the true pioneer of Swiss watchmaking, the birthplace of many innovations, patents and calipers. This company invented the concept of the sports watch as they know it today, and its legend began with the store in 1938. True to its long tradition of creating mechanical calipers, it produces five internal movements: the tourbillon al-980; Al-760 recoil chronograph; World timer al-718; Automatic adjuster al-950 and small date automatic al-710. Its mission is to design and manufacture luxury sports watches that operate with the highest possible accuracy and reliability in the most demanding sports environments, such as the Alps.
