Ace Frehley is best known for being Kiss's original lead guitarist and co-founding member. He created The Spaceman, also known as Space Ace) and joined the group when it first formed in 1973 until he left in 1982. Following that, he launched a solo career that was put on hold when he joined Kiss for a highly successful reunion tour in 1996.
