About Yum Cha
In the heart of Chinatown, Yum Cha first opened. In order to revive the dim sum tea house concept in a shophouse setting with marble tables and wooden chairs for a nostalgic atmosphere, they opened its doors for the first time in 2000 near Temple Street in Chinatown. Yum Cha provide a one-of-a-kind dim sum dining experience for lunch or dinner, away from the bustle of city life. Renowned for its extensive menu of dim sum, which includes both traditional dishes like Fish Roe with Siew Mai and Xiao Long Bao and contemporary creations like Mango Prawn Sesame Fritters and Truffle Mushroom Bao from their chef. The Salted Egg Prawns and Roasted Peking Duck, two of their Restaurants' most popular local dishes, have also been added to their menu. The branch at Changi Business Park utilized the same solid teak chairs and marble tabletops as the original Chinatown location.
