About Worth Mending
Regarding the digital fingerprint, Elysha Schuhbauer. Using thread, fabric, wood, and found objects, Worth Mending make functional art. They are overjoyed to have discovered a niche in the maker community that suits me: Utilize what they have. The world already has so much, so why buy new and be obsessed with single-use items? Working with mostly reclaimed, repurposed, upcycled, and salvaged materials has endless creative potential that is empowering. Building a world where people, the planet, and resources are treated with dignity seems perfect to them. Nothing can be thrown away. Worth Mending is a cool little product that Scott, their ally, and they created. It is made of reclaimed bicycle spokes and hardwood, it makes darning and weaving a little easier, it is beautiful.
