About Woodworker
Woodworker was created by John Wirth, Jr. and Billie Jean Wirth in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1972, with 7 employees at the time. Their philosophy has always been to provide professional and tasteful amateur carpenters with their machinery, tools and other carpentry needs. It developed rapidly in the 1980s and was proudly included in the list of the 500 fastest growing companies in 1987, 1988 and 1989. Their ownership remains the same, and John and Billy Jean still manage Woodworker. Their 40,000-square-foot facility in Albuquerque currently provides logistics services to its central, southwestern, and western states and their marketing departments. They proudly live on an etched copper plaque prominently posted on a code of conduct everywhere. They expect customers to expect them to adhere to this code of conduct.
