About Woodpeckercoats
Woodpeckercoats is a national award-winning and globally recognized social entrepreneurship project of Toronto Central College. Students participating in the business/design SHSM program collaborate with innovative Canadian fashion industry professionals and initiate an annual "prototype-to-production" project. This year, Woodpeckercoats collaborated with Will Poho, the founder of Mooseknuckles, to launch a new and improved non-abuse bio-fiber super-smooth jacket design. Fashion works created by inner city youths of 6IX Academy have their own characteristics on CBC, magazine layouts, and influencer media feeds. They are sold on various electronic platforms and sold in well-known stores such as Gotstyle.
