November 2025 Deadline — 20% Va Rep

One of the biggest performing arts groups in Central Virginia is the Va Rep, a regionally based professional theater with its headquarters in downtown Richmond. The two main seasons that Virginia Rep will present in 2022–2023 are the Barksdale Season at the Hanover Tavern on Hanover Courthouse Road and the Signature Season at the Sara Belle and Neil November Theatre in the Arts District, both located downtown at 114 West Broad St. They acquired control of the 4204 Hermitage Road-located Virginia Rep Center for Arts and Education in 2022. This new location will host their children's theater plays, educational tours, camps, classes, and workshops. Va Rep also travels children's productions, both virtual and real, and provides educational programming to schools throughout Virginia and to major performing arts venues around 32 states. A number of events are planned to commemorate and remember Virginia Rep's inception in Hanover County, Virginia, in 1953, which will occur 70 years later in 2023.
