About Usalights
The founder of Usalights did a three-week "work" at home for a few friends in the beautiful Bund, North Carolina. While there, he volunteered to "work" at the Bodie Island Lighthouse, keeping the lighthouse open to tourists to visit and answer questions about the lighthouse. He had a wonderful time, met some great people and fell in love with the Bodie Island lighthouse. Although climbing is not allowed, one can only imagine the spectacular landscape from the top of Usalights, because the environment is beautiful. These sites are owned by the National Park Service, while the tower itself is still maintained by the Coast Guard. He hopes that when the property is transferred to the Park Service, the tower will be restored and opened to climb 214 stairs to the top of the tower, and he knows that he will be the first to voluntarily let all this happen.
