About Tria Restaurant
What makes this restaurant unique is the distinctive flavor of its "improvisational cooking" approach. Wood-burning fireplaces, stone decorations and beamed ceilings create a cozy and vibrant atmosphere that celebrates fresh ingredients used in country cooking in the heart of Europe and the United States. Tria Restaurant, in scenic North Oaks, was once the cattle farm of railroad magnet James j. Hill, and Tria Restaurant paid tribute to local history with a bronze statue of a pig stuffed in the bar area. According to legend, the herders who worked on the farm had a beloved pet pig, affectionately known as Morgan (supposedly a rival financier, JP Morgan), and was considered lucky. Like the herders in front of them, its customers are eager to rub Morgan's tummy for good luck.
