About Thomas Turner
Thomas Turner can follow its nation sports history back to proprietor, a gunmaker of Marlborough (Wiltshire) who was brought into the world in 1770. They kicked the bucket leaving their weapon making apparatuses and stock to their more youthful child. They had previously settled the firm of their own in Perusing in 1838. They succeeded and their children followed them into the business. Their last enduring child passed on in the 1930's and the firm was then obtained by one of their students, head guardian of a wearing domain close by. They carried on the custom with their maintaining the firearm business and their maintaining a fishing box business under the name of Thomas Turner. In 2001 they offered their fishing supplies business to fishing box retailer Sportfish and it was moved to Haywards Homestead, Theale where an enormous horse shelter was changed over into a grandstand fly fishing store.
