About The Happy Scraps
Amy, the founder of The Happy Scraps enjoy making projects for sewing, paper and wood crafts, and home decor. In 2008, they started The Happy Scraps as a way to show friends and family some of their favorite projects. As their blog has grown over time, they now enjoy sharing tutorials and craft and DIY projects of all kinds. They and their husband Tom have five sons together. While they enjoy writing for their blog, motherhood is their favorite job in the world. They discovered their passion for sewing and crafting while they was growing up in a very small town in central Utah. Although they are raising their family in Salt Lake City, Utah, they never imagined themselves to be a city girl. They worked for their dad's excavating company while they was in high school. A backhoe and a loader are two of the heavy machinery that they can operate.
