Matt Lazarski and Jozef Wojciehoski, two friends, started Taps and Tackle Co. Their main interests are musky fishing and the atmosphere of beer and spirits. Matt and Jozef both hail from Stevens Point and spent their childhoods fishing in the rivers and Northwoods of Wisconsin. Taps and Tackle Co was founded as a result of an ongoing search for new musky lures and the realization that high-quality musky lures are difficult to come by. Matt Lazarski, who has been running The Bottle Stop LLC successfully for nearly a decade, came up with the idea to incorporate musky tackle into a liquor store.
