Sugar Creek Golf Course is a 9-hole, par-32 course owned and operated by Elmhurst Park district and Villa Park village. The course features a large, smooth profiled Penncross bentgrass green, a three-acre pond that will play on four of the nine holes, and excellent golf turf. It provides a challenge for experienced players, but is short enough for beginners. The course was renovated in 2003, adding bunkers and tee links, extending the large lane system, and changing the number 8 hole from par 3 to par 4. Built in 2005, the light driving range includes 25 target greens and a variety of yard flags/markers for great target practice. Sugar Creek Golf Course features a banquet hall with a private bar and an outdoor deck area. Banquet facilities are ideal for most events that can accommodate 100 people. The golf shop sells designer clothing, accessories and state-of-the-art equipment from leading golf club manufacturers.
