About Stressed Teens
The business known as Stressed Teens was founded in 2004 and distributes the mindfulness-based stress reduction for teens program in a variety of formats Biegel, 2009a, 2009b, 2014, 2017. Stressed Teens teaches mindfulness techniques and provides resources for pre-teens, adolescents, and even young adults. They address the whole person through a mind-body approach. Teens frequently struggle with their attention, emotions, social skills, self-confidence, procrastination, and impulsivity. Teens who are stressed can improve their social, physical, and psychological functioning and quality of life. According to Kabat-Zinn 1982, 1990, and 2013, the adult version of the mindfulness-based stress reduction program is called MBSR-T. The traditional MBSR program that was developed by Kabat-Zinn and colleagues is closely related to the MBSR-T intervention.
