About Stone Treasures by the Lake
They recall collecting stones from all across Northern Michigan when they was a kid in Gaylord, Michigan. They had always enjoyed collecting stones, they were like small gems to them. Their earliest recollections are of their family taking their Grandmother Johnson to Stone Treasures by the Lake Whitefish Point to collect stones. Stone Treasures by the Lake would be there all day, resisting the sting of the black flies that sought to whisk them away. Because not everyone shares their love of rough stones, they became a lapidary artisan and jewelry designer. They trained themselves lapidary and silversmithing techniques so that others might appreciate the beauty of their small treasures as well. This is their one-of-a-kind method of contributing to the creative powers of the Universe, and they hope you enjoy their stones.
